New in Panther: ColorWhirled?

Earlier versions Panther had a new application from Apple that can be used to open Quicktime movies with.
Unfortunately, we don't know what it's for and it doesn't do anything. It only existed in earlier versions of Panther. The most recent version (7B74) does not have it installed.
Update: Apparently, ColorWhirled is a sample Color Sync Application that comes on the developer CDs. And is of little significance.
